Two out of three people suffer from hair loss—that's the current statistic. And, unfortunately, it's getting worse. Hair loss is affecting younger people. 20% of my patients are aged 16-19.
Hair loss is, first and foremost, a symptom of a malfunction in the body. But we shouldn't forget the other side of the problem. Hair loss is a complex emotional process for many, causing stress. It is important to understand that each case is individual, as there are different causes and types of hair loss.

Types of Hair Loss
- Diffuse hair loss (when hair falls out evenly over the entire scalp) occurs due to microelement deficiencies, thyroid problems, and infections.
- Androgenic hair loss is familiar to many. The problem is localized in the crown area. As a rule, this type of hair loss is caused by hormonal imbalances, heredity, and carbohydrate metabolism problems. I do not distinguish between male and female hair loss. The causes are the same for everyone, but the approach to diagnosis and treatment is different.
- Another type of hair loss is focal. In this case, areas of complete hair loss alternate with areas of healthy hair. This type requires treatment and examination under the supervision of a trichologist.
My practice proves that hair needs to be treated both externally and internally. High-quality and regular hair care is an important component of its health and beauty. Hair should be elastic, resilient, soft and silky, with a healthy shine. Healthy hair does not frizz or static, is easy to style, and holds its shape. Its shaft structure is dense, without external damage. It is also important to remember that a healthy scalp is the key to healthy hair. Not everyone has a normal scalp. Scalp type and hair type, as well as hair count, are strictly genetic. But if your scalp suddenly becomes drier or oilier, your hair becomes thinner, and its quantity decreases—sound the alarm!
Hair Loss Care
There is a huge debate about what is considered normal for hair loss. For example, the notorious 100 hairs a day is far from normal for many. In this matter, you should rely on your own observations. If you notice that your hair has begun to fall out more actively, you should consult a specialist, determine the cause, and begin treatment. At the same time, don't ignore basic home care principles—first and foremost, regular scalp cleansing with specialized products.
I recommend using pharmacy cosmetics. For example, products from the Hyalumax line from the international laboratory LIBREDERM. The line includes daily care products: shampoo and conditioner, as well as additional care: a hair restoration spray lotion, an activating serum, and a peeling for deep scalp cleansing. All products contain hyaluronic and nicotinic acids, which improve the transport of oxygen and beneficial microelements, moisturize and nourish, preventing hair loss and stimulating accelerated hair growth. All products are clinically tested and approved by dermatologists and trichologists. Remember that the results from using these products are cumulative. The course of use is at least 1 month.
