WHY DOES SWELLING ARISE?
TEARS
Crying over a good movie or after a breakup with a boyfriend is common. Has it become normal for you to shed tears from time to time? Don't be surprised by swelling. If you cry regularly, the tear glands become inflamed. As a result, the drainage function of the tissues is disrupted - the eyes look puffy.

TOO MUCH OR NOT ENOUGH WATER
Surely you have heard many times how important it is to drink several liters of water a day. In fact, everyone has their own norm. And if you regularly exceed it, the body may not have time to eliminate water. Also, it's best not to overdo it in the evening. The kidneys become less active at night. Therefore, fluid may be retained. However, the opposite effect also occurs. If you don't drink enough water, dehydration can unexpectedly manifest itself, including in the form of edema.
SALTY FOOD
Have you noticed that after eating salty food, you feel very thirsty? This is because salt retains water. Therefore, if you like to eat fast food or other foods with a lot of salt at night, it's not surprising that your face has puffiness.
ALCOHOL
Alcohol is not only a hidden source of calories, but also a potential cause of dehydration. Especially if you like to have a glass before bed. As a result, it’s easy to get fluid retention in the morning.
INCORRECT CARE
Do you regularly take care of your skin before bed? Are you sure you’re doing it right? Applying nighttime products right before going to bed can cause swelling. Therefore, it’s better to take care of your skin at least an hour before bed.

HOW TO GET RID OF SWELLING?
Whatever the cause of swelling, everyone dreams of saying goodbye to it as quickly as possible. After all, you want to look fresh in the morning. And swelling certainly doesn’t contribute to that. The LIBREDERM hyaluronic gel patch will help you get rid of them.

• Low molecular weight hyaluronic acid and a complex of natural biopolymers gently care for the skin around the eyes, guaranteeing 48-hour hydration and maintaining the skin microbiota.
• Acetyl tetrapeptide-5, with its decongestant properties, has a drainage effect, reducing dark circles and bags under the eyes.
Working in synergy, these components restore skin tone and elasticity, and smooth out wrinkles.

HOW TO USE THE GEL PATCH?
Apply the gel in an even, dense layer at least 2 mm thick to clean, dry skin of the lower eyelid from the outer corner to the inner corner. Do not rub. Leave it on for 15-20 minutes. Then remove any remaining gel or spread it over the face with light massage movements. Use daily morning and/or evening 1.5 hours before bedtime. For best results, refrigerate the bottle or store it in the refrigerator, but do not freeze.

WHAT MAKES A GEL PATCH BETTER THAN REGULAR PATCHES?
Unlike regular patches, a gel patch can be applied to a wider area of the face, taking into account physiology. Thanks to this, the product is much more effective, and the process of use is more convenient. After all, you do not need to waste time trying to properly distribute fabric patches, which, moreover, may not be the right size. Another advantage of the gel patch is the vacuum-sealed bottle. You do not need to come into contact with the product with your hands when removing it. This means that everything is as hygienic as possible.
WHAT ELSE WILL HELP GET RID OF SWELLING?
Has swelling become a habit for you? The first thing you should do (especially if it appears suddenly) is to consult a doctor. The cause may be hormonal imbalances, problems with the kidneys or endocrine system. And delay is simply dangerous. If internal causes are excluded, try following these tips.
• Practice contrast showers. When washing your face, alternate between cold and warm water. The temperature difference will have a toning effect and help reduce swelling.
• Do a facial massage. Learn the technique of lymphatic drainage massage using a special roller or your fingers. It will help reduce swelling by improving microcirculation and lymph flow.
• Don't forget about hidden salt. As we've already established, salt retains water. However, it's not always easy to recognize. Swelling can even be caused by a dinner consisting of a light vegetable salad generously dressed with mayonnaise or, worse, a mayonnaise-based sauce. Such dressings contain a large amount of salt.
