3 Rules for Getting a Healthy Tan: Expert Advice

3 Rules for Getting a Healthy Tan: Expert Advice

1. WHAT TYPES OF SOLAR RADIATION ARE THERE AND HOW DO THEY AFFECT THE SKIN?

Types of solar radiation
UVA rays make up 95% of the entire ultraviolet spectrum. This type of radiation passes through the epidermis, reaches the cells of the dermis, causing changes in the DNA of cells, and increases the risk of oncopathologies.
UVB rays also penetrate the epidermis, heat the skin and cause sunburn. In addition, there are also IR waves that affect the deep layers of the skin, disrupt regeneration processes and contribute to the accumulation of free radicals, which leads to photoaging. Finally, visible light enhances the damaging effects of ultraviolet rays. We can't eliminate solar radiation, but learning to control the sun with the right protection is within everyone's power.

2. HOW TO CHOOSE THE RIGHT SUN PROTECTION?

Choose the level of protection depending on the activity of the sun's rays, the planned time spent in the sun, and the phototype.

Organic and inorganic filters in the BRONZEADA LIBRIDERM® products protect against solar radiation while in the city and on vacation, since the SPF in the series starts from 10 to 50. The action of the filters is prolongated by the unique polymer complex HYDROGENATED DIMER DILINOLEYL / DIMETHYLCARBONATE COPOLYMER, which provides a water-repellent effect. Caring ingredients – thermal water and Omega 3-6-9 – provide antioxidant benefits and promote the formation of a healthy lipid barrier. To protect the sensitive skin of children aged 1 year and older, the collection includes a children's cream with SPF 50+. This product is free of dyes, parabens, and fragrances. For those prone to pigmentation, there's an anti-pigmentation cream for face and body with SPF 50 for those with skin phototype I. 3. HOW TO APPLY SUNSCREEN? HOW TO DETERMINE WHEN TO REAPPLY IF EXPOSED TO THE SUN FOR A LONG TIME?Sunscreen should be reapplied every 2 hours
In the BRONZEADA collection, you can choose protection with a comfortable texture - body cream, cream for face, neck and décolleté, fluid and spray. All products are applied in an even layer to the skin of the face and body 30 minutes before sun exposure, 2 mg per square centimeter of skin, i.e. at least two tablespoons on the body and half a teaspoon on the face. Repeat application every 2 hours, especially when swimming, actively sweating and using a towel. If you're updating your makeup, update your sun protection. Remember, insufficient application of products to the skin significantly reduces the protective effect!

4. I'M GOING ON VACATION. WHAT SHOULD I TAKE WITH YOU FOR SUN PROTECTION AND SKIN RESTORE?

For skin care before and after tanning on vacation, you'll need protection and products to combat the effects of sun exposure—burns and pigmentation.

PROTECTION

The choice of protection depends on the level of solar radiation (time of year, mountainous or flat terrain, etc.), the local temperature, your phototype, and the degree of tanning you had before your vacation. If you have fair skin, haven't sunbathed before your vacation, and are planning a stay in a very hot country, then you definitely need SPF 50 creams on the beach!

Apply BRONZEADA LIBRIDERM® sunscreen 30 minutes before sun exposure. Reapply every 2 hours. Sunscreens protect the skin, while plant extracts and oils nourish and moisturize it.

RESTORATION

Everyone, without exception, will find restorative products useful in their hotel room—they are applied after sun exposure. If sunburn occurs, quickly treat your skin with LIBREDERM Panthenol Spray with Hyaluronic Acid. This innovative product not only restores skin after sunburn, but also provides prolonged hydration. Panthenol accelerates skin regeneration and relieves inflammation, while hyaluronic acid eliminates dry skin and discomfort after sunbathing. If skin redness and sunburn appear, treat the affected areas with LIBREDERM® Panthenol Spray with Hyaluronic Acid. The spray's components accelerate healing and relieve discomfort after sunburn in adults and children. ELIMINATION OF PIGMENT SPOTS Under the influence of ultraviolet radiation, melanocytes can secrete melanin unevenly, and pigment spots appear in areas where it accumulates. If pigmentation appears after sun exposure, apply LIBREDERM BRG + Vitamin B3 Serum to problem areas before bed. Thanks to the BRG serum component, the melanin content in the area of hyperpigmentation is reduced by -150%*, the skin tone is evened out. Vitamin B3 in the composition protects cellular DNA from UV radiation and has an antioxidant effect.

To eliminate age spots after tanning, apply the LIBREDERM® BRG + VITAMIN B3 serum pointwise to problem areas at night. Pigmentation is reduced, the skin tone is evened out.

MOISTURIZING

Products from the Dermatology Vitamins and Panthenol lines combine perfectly with moisturizing and nourishing products from various LIBREDERM collections.
